Oh my, and I remember when we had to write 1950 on our school work
Anyway, went for a walk on New Year's Day and here's a photo looking down on West Beach in Santa Barbara.

He can quit and put someone competent in charge.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

Are you reading the fifth book? I'm enjoying the Strike series (and yes, I liked the Potter books as well!).
Oh LINDY, can tell that you enjoy Christmas, you have some lovely pieces displayed. Rd the school situation. It's such a difficult one. Middle daughter's afternoon job is in a designated hub school for the children of keyworkers also vulnerable children (social service involvement etc) She thinks that there will be about 100 children. My eldest daughter works in a nursery who will also admit babies and toddlers who fall into that group. My daughter in law is a registered child minder who looks after the same. Not one of them has expressed any anxiety and I'm very proud of them. Particularly since my eldest daughter had congenital heart disease and my middle daughter has asthma, her own daughter has Type 1 diabetes. Maybe this is off topic, I do know about super spreading children, etc and the bigger picture. I just think that people like them deserve some praise, without them there would be many doctors, nurses, ambulance drivers and other keyworkers missing from their place of employment ! End of rant, sorry....
