AQ, Hi, glad to see you are home and recuperating. Dau has a Hyundai i20 and is very pleased with it, before she had the Hyundai i10. Quite reliable cars. Its horrible wearing a mask, I know what you mean, but unfortunately it is a sign of the times. Try and avoid going out too much if I can so as not to wear one, at least at present.

Stay safe and well, Diane, and hope you don't get too cold a winter.

Same goes for all of us, let's hope it stays cold but not too cold.

Good Morning Everyone. Still dark here & my OH has been out with the dog early, as he's going off to get his haircut soon. He was thrilled just to get an appointment!

Diane, well done on sticking to it and losing the weight: not easy in winter, when you just want comfort food. I think it's an age thing, feeling cold. Your blood gets thinner or something. And women feel cold much more than men do.

Annette, Hope you're recovering from your family invasion.

Lynette, sorry to hear you've had more attacks of the vertigo, that's horrible.

OG -- You could say anything you like about my decorations, I'm not easily offended! We all have different ideas. Main thing is, to enjoy the season, which brightens up these dull days of winter :-) (Personally, I think blue is a very unChristmassy colour...... LOL!!)

SNOW! Just a sprinkling early morning, but this is almost sea level, so can imagine what it's like out Langholm or Moffat way! Not actually freezing today but very few degrees and sky looks full of something - will probably be sleet.
OH had gone shopping, but just came back for his credit card - he had paid cash at Greengrocer and Post Office but wanted the card for Tesco groceries and he'd left it by his computer.

DIANE - I worry about you losing so much weight - you must look after yourself, although I know it is difficult.

LYNETTE - sorry about the aches and pain and your vertigo. we are all feeling older this year.

LINDA - pleased your OH is getting a haircut - does he wear a hat in winter? More decorations appeared in bedroom windows across the road - much nicer than next door - these are very tasteful white - I can cope with that and even enjoy from the study window.

A quiet day for us, so wrapping should get done this afternoon.

My OH went to get his haircut, then had to stand in the cold waiting for the bank to open. He returned looking cold - he is snuffley again and says it's worse in the central heating. Anyway, after a quick sandwich he's gone off to the latest funeral. He wears a woolly hat, OG, but says he won't wear it out of respect today. I just hope he doesn't get too cold again!
