Lovely day here. Friend and I went and sat and looked at the ocean for an hour, then to Costco for a couple of items, then to our wonderful local bookstore for a browse.....

Watched the SpaceX launch of the four astronauts to the ISS this afternoon. Always thrilling (for me at least).

HEATHER – Great news, over at last.

Overnight Adelaide’s covid cluster grew from 4 to 17. They’ve closed supermarket, 2 schools, an aged care. All states except NSW have closed their borders and again require quarantine. Selfishly I had my fingers crossed that my hospital was not affected. It’s not.

I am away early tomorrow morn & shall be unavailable; only in hosp overnight, but my return will depend on brain fog. Thank you ALL for being here whenever I check in to pep me up.

Yesterday was horrible - very heavy rain most of the time. I did manage to find a small window of sunshine when I got out for a short walk, having not been out for two full days. This morning it looks lovely with the sun shining on what is left of the autumnal leaves. Not sure it's going to last ...
