Found it very easy to do.   Just went onto Word and insert for Clip Art. Found a pic I wanted, right clicked and clicked on copy and then went to my profile.   Went to edit and right at the bottom it has a space for signature, right clicked again for paste and hey presto! it arrived.

Just seen looking through the posts again that it was a programme on Scotland so will try and get it up on I Player.

My tiger has "died" as Delphi has crashed big time. I hope he is revived in the morning.

Morning, Everyone:   Pouring rain here again, and after a wild night of gusty winds and lots more rain, too.

Golly, you lot have been busy!  Was going to speed read through what's been written since I was on here yesterday morning, but there is too much for me to get through before I have to go out.  Will digest it all later. Have a good day, and hope no one in our group is too badly affected by the floods reported in the South.

Dibnlib.  I thought your injury sounded very bad when you first mentioned it, but from your latest report it sounds very severe. I admire how you are still carrying on with your life.

Good morning dibnlib must have been a shock when you saw what they had done to put your ankle back together again.  Poor you another 5 weeks in plaster.  Pleased that pain is now under control but I can just imagine what a nuisance everything is.

My best wishes to William and Kate also, look a really nice couple.  Let's hope the press will give them some privacy now and then.

Morning!  What a difference a day makes.  No frost this morning, windy and very overcast.  So glad we once more visited RSPB Fowlmere on Monday.  No sign of otter this time, but we did have at least four sightings of water rail, and a knowledgeable visitor pointed out a harrier, and when a bird took off from almost under our noses he said it was a merlin.  All I could say was each was a bird of prey!

I too have been watching Rewind the Sixties.  Today's programme included a very short clip of Thunderbirds are Go!!  and I had to think of Alan!

OG, yes, it is very fixed in my mind that we are due at the party THIS Saturday!

Annette we were inundated with news of the engagement last night, and indeed this morning, most of it totally repetitious. Apparently there was a 'tea party' (no, not of the political sort!) with a number of the media beforehand, where a lot more was spoken of than the press was actually able to reveal - wonder why?  Of course there will be endless speculation over venue and dress in these austere times.  But I for one will be watching!

Wendy I was very sorry to hear that your late husband died at such a young age.  It is understandable that you have so many memories of wonderful times on Lundy.  How interesting that the CAA were recording the noises of Concord all those years ago.  When you say 'throttle back' I assume it is at the beginning of descent, with still a long way to fly!  Poor cows.  Was the theory ever confirmed.  When the various groups were consulting recently on the possible introduction of sea eagles into first Suffolk and then Norfolk the farmers there were fearing the impact on laying hens and distorted eggs.  Things never change.  When we visited Lundy last year I noticed that one of the more distant cottages was described as being without electricity.  I assume it was powered by gas and generator, or perhaps it was gas light too?  If we do decided to stay, I will indeed get in touch!  Thank you.

Tiger Beautiful photo of the owl.  You might be interested to know that our local zoo, Linton Zoo (which is part of an international rare breeds breeding and conservation programme) has for many years been graced with the presence of a Great Horned Owl.  It is free, flying wild, and regularly sits on the trees over the owl aviaries.  I have been told that it has been known to bring in dead mammals and drop them in when young are being raised!  The zoo does not know where it has come from but assumes it is an escapee which is faring extremely well!  I have seen it on more than one occasion.

Got flocks of fieldfare in the fields today. 

I hope those of you being affected by the horrendous wind and rain battering the west of the UK are keeping safe.  I'm thinking of you.

Good morning WendyB and feel sorry for your OH being in the New Forest.  It is a dreadful day, pouring with rain and not very warm.  Won't see the Forest at it's best at all. 

I can see you have had some tough times but so pleased you are OK now and of course you had to do some retail therapy in the sun.

Diane  just what we needed a real splash of colour with the flowers and the peacock.  Dreadful day here in Southern England, heavy rain and not very warm either.
