HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY NEW MONTH!

I hope everyone enjoys the Full Blue Moon! The second full moon in a month.

Be safe and healthy all!

Stay strong, friends.

  • OG: I'm sorry about your meltdown. Too much stress in the world right now. I hope you can settle the edginess and feel better. Too bad about J's accident. It's a nuisance and is probably magnified by his other issues. I completely understand your anger at folks who won't exercise caution and take COVID-19 seriously. No one does in my area, and numbers are soaring in my community. I know you're especially vulnerable. Sending you protective energy, my friend.

  • SunnyKate2: That photo of the whale and train is astonishing! Thanks for posting. Isn't it funny how things work out sometimes?!

  • Harelady: I'm so very sorry about your son's loss of job. Harrowing for him and so worrying for you. I hope he can find another job quickly, although I know that it's not easy in this economic environment.

    That incident you recounted about Luna's Dad makes me angry, and I'm not even involved. I can understand your frustration. What is wrong with people? It's the same attitude I see here in the states. Sigh...I hope your daughter can find a free or inexpensive way to pursue the issue in court.

  • CLARE: Of course, I agree with your sentiments and send best wishes to your California family members. I hope I live to see the day when the United States begins to live up to its promise and potential, instead of wallowing in the cruelty and brutality of its past. I enjoyed your photos, especially the pink-footed geese. I'm very fond of geese. Hello to Limpy.
  • CLARE: You can be proud of your work as Limpy's carer. I was the sole caregiver for my parents when they became critically and terminally ill. It was the hardest work I've ever done, both physically and emotionally. I respect you. I'm glad you're receiving some payment from your government. Good that your home is paid for, too.
  • Lindy: Well done on your puzzle! You're making progress! I've been playing a lot of Scrabble online (pogo.com). It seems to distract my mind from everything going on. I loved your woodpecker photo.

    Annette: Did you see that Arlo Guthrie has come off the road for good? He stopped doing live shows due to health reasons. I know that you--like me--are old enough to remember Alice's Restaurant and Hobo's Lullaby. Hard to believe that he's 73 now. (For those who don't know: Arlo is the son of the iconic folk singer/songwriter Woody Guthrie.)

    AQ: The weather forecast promises much warmer temps for later this week. Thanks for sending the warmth. LOL!

    Hello to dibnlib, Pat O., Lynette, Gardenbirder, Rosy, and everyone.

  • Sorry I can't make the promised replies this morning. J collapsed after breakfast. We called an ambulance and the
    three crew spent a long time with him. He has been told he must rest today, and we must call again if we need to. I now need a shower before my blood tests this afternoon - no showers yesterday due to boiler!
  • OG - So sorry to hear about J. I do hope a quiet day of rest will restore him fully. Such a worry for all of you. Thoughts and prayers flying in your direction.
  • Thinking about you, here, too, OG and E-E. Hope he recovers with a rest and some tlc. {{HUGS}}
