It is that time for a new thread again. We continue from Weekly Chat, Sunday, October 17, 2010 Last week had so many fascinating topics I am not sure what should be carried forward.
It was such an eclectic mix, my memory is of birthdays, bears, steam engines, hedgehogs, hummingbirds, osprey pictures, computers, relativity, quantum mechanics and cats of all types. No doubt it will be repeated in the week to come.
Oh I forgot. Outlaws and inlaws! :)

Hi ALL! It's a crisp Fall day in the City of Halifax, Nova Scotia ... the sun is doing its best to break through :)
The Queen Mary 2 cruiseship sailed into the Port of Halifax, and I was up bright and early to follow her. Camera in hand and ballcap firmly planted on head ... no need frightening the neighbours! LOL Here is a sample of the pics I took as I stalked her progress.
And finally docking at Pier 22 on the Halifax Waterfront . . .
You can see her live via one of the harbour webcams here. She's scheduled to depart today at 6:00pm ADT.
Thanks for letting me share what was a great excursion :) Enjoy the rest of your day!

Hello Kelloggs, how lovely to have another part of the world represented on here. Thank you, too, for the lovely photos. I checked out the link to the harbour and it looks as though you are enjoying some splendid weather!

Hi all, not had chance to look back yet at all the news as computer did a funny on me and told me internet access was not working. Rang up our computer doc last night and he told me to try something which I did but to no avail. Still wasn't up and running this morning. OH and son were out at the rugby this afternoon and son suggested I that a switch might have got knocked off by mistake. Anyhow , been trying all my switches and lo and behold, I'm back on the air at long last. Thought I'd have to pay out to have it looked at. Hopefully all is now OK.
Will look in later tonight and have a proper browse as I have to catch up with emails. Thanks for your welcome back, much appreciated.

Welcome Kelloggs, nice to see someone new! You might find it quiet here as all the Brits could be glued to the TV watching Ann Widdecombe Paso Doble-ing with Anton. Just a quick visit myself before I plonk me down!
Terry in Cumbria
Hi Kellogs:) As others have said, welcome, lovely to have new faces. And a new part of the world as well.
Love the pictures of the ship. Thanks. How exciting and it gives a scale, next to the building.
Evening everyone and as Terry says, lots of people are watching the TV! Hope it's good viewing.
Kelloggs Welcome to the weekly chat. Those are great pictures. Thanks for sharing them with us!
Starting thread for new week!
