It is that time for a new thread again. We continue from Weekly Chat, Sunday, October 17, 2010 Last week had so many fascinating topics I am not sure what should be carried forward.
It was such an eclectic mix, my memory is of birthdays, bears, steam engines, hedgehogs, hummingbirds, osprey pictures, computers, relativity, quantum mechanics and cats of all types. No doubt it will be repeated in the week to come.
Oh I forgot. Outlaws and inlaws! :)

Morning all, sunny chilly morning today, which makes a change to rain for a weekend! Managed to get all the gardens done yesterday that were on the list for their last cut (hurrah!) without getting wet, although it was very windy.
Another LOL from me, Alan, : ))
While we wait for Phoebe to lay her eggs, there are lots on Youtube. How cute is this?

Last Thursday we went to Manchester to see Jeff Beck (ex Yardbirds) – it was the best rock concert I’ve been to in 30 years (and almost the only rock concert....). He’s 66 and still going strong, although I am fairly certain he dyes his hair! OH last saw him at the Marquee in London in 1968, but I was only 13 then and not going anywhere much. : ((

And me!! She is such a character and the pairing with Anton is a total success - but not to reach the final.

Meant to say, Annette, I agree about not wasting stuff and I think many people need to think before chucking. We drove past a house shortly after moving out and were horrified to see almost brand new kitchen cupboards broken on the front garden. Ok, we might not like someone else's cupboards, but they could have been recycled.
Seal cam mentioned above is on, cute baby in view.
Good morning all just a quick visit from me while OH is out getting his hair cut and doing yet more shopping. I want to spend as much time as possible with him as he is still struggling to come to terms with the loss of his friend. He is a very sensitive soul and this has really affected him more than he thought it would. Has spoken to his wife and children several times to offer as much support as he can.
Alan I can't wait either to see Ann Widdecombe dancing the Pasa Doble and music what more can I ay. Your comment about David Cameron and Nick Clegg is just hilarious. Although Ann provides us with a lot of entertainment I hope that not too many of the better dancers will be voted off. This year I think there are four couples who stand a very good chance of winning. Matt is one who completely surprised me and who would have thought Pamela would be as good as she is. Really look forward to Saturday evening viewing now.
TerryM so pleased you enjoyed your concert, there is nothing like a live show is there. with some d
Wishing all a good weekend with some decent weather.

Afternoon all,
Beautiful day here. Sunny mild with little wind. Temp around 15c.
This morning we drove up the A1 to Stamford and had a nice walk around. Crossing the meadow from the car park we saw lots of canada geese and a couple of pink footed geese. Also lots of the usual ducks around and a moorhen. After walking around the town drove back to Elton for lunch at the garden centre. On the way we saw a red kite being mobbed by 3 crows. The colours of the trees on the back roads were magnificent.
Margobird : I agree with you re keeping Ann Widdecombe in for too long. There will come a point when 1 of the better dancers may be voted off instead of her. Matt is very good and also Scottttttttt!!, Pamela is also very good but I think it is harder for the male celebrities.
afternoon all. Hope everyone is doing OK . Nice crisp, Fall day here
Joan, lovely pictures of the churchyard, thanks. Super view.
SheliaFE, great description of the Hurricane of 87! I lived in Kent then, about 10 miles from Sevenoaks and managed to sleep right through it:)
