Seem to have missed most of Monday – made scones this afternoon.

CLARE – lovely series of pix from Lackford Lakes – it won’t let me comment on that page so I have to say it here! Nuthatch is lovely. They weren’t found at all in Scotland until quite recent times, and when they first came they seemed to go right past Dumfriesshire, but now we do see them occasionally here. Congratulations on the coming promotion at photographic club!

ANNETTE – hope your journey is progressing well today and tomorrow. Take care.

LINDA - I wonder if your OH found a suitable little replacement screw, or is he scratching his head and saying “I thought I had kept one of those in a useful place”?

OH is looking tired today, so I think I shall go and sit down, then he might sit too!

Car service today; I wandered to nearby library and browsed to pass the time. Bought 2 tomato plants on way home. Nanny nap and so passeth another day.

I'm glad you're got sunshine, Lindy - it's chucking it down with rain here. I'm back from the gym and feeling pleased with myself! My fitness levels are definitely better than they were (they couldn't get much worse) and I'm definitely shrinking, which feels absolutely great. I'm keeping everything crossed that our gym and pool remain open as it's making such a huge difference to me, physically and mentally.
