Hi folks,
It was a very quiet day after early morning sightings. No juves on the nest all day. Rejoicings at last. It looks as though they have set off on their migration and that Odin has probably followed them.
We will have to wait and see from the official blog at LG but hopefully they will confirm that the bairns are on their way at last and Odin is too.
Sad though it is , the end of the season is nigh. God speed and safe journey to them all.,

It’s time for your fishing lesson, see.
You'cn go. Like I don’t want to get m’feathers like wet. I’ve just like spent ages preening.
Get real. You’ll get wet in the rain. Wot’s the diff?
Anyway I’m like on a diet. Fish makes you fat.
The light is very beautiful this morn. But no birds to be seen or heard . . .
Over the last hour, an empty nest, no osprey or other birds callls heard, misty with no view of horizon, Occasional noise of distant vehicle. really very quiet.

Morning all ... thanks for empty nest reports!! A beautiful scene at LG ... well ... apart from the scruffy looking nest that is :-) Great to hear no sound of ospreys ... didn't think I'd ever say that !!!

Methinks I was a bit late posting this morn's "conversation". Now it is probably more like "Are we there yet?"
