Hi, it was a day of misery for the two chicks. With EJ gone and it looks like Odin has gone too, there were no deliveries of fish yesterday.
Nature is playing its part. It is time the two juves went fishing for themselves or else start on their migratory journey. Odin has obviously felt it is time to kick start these two into foraging for themselves. If confirmed he is gone by the LG team it will be about the same time as last year.
The weather sounds foul at LG at the moment so hope they are sheltering safely somewhere.
Only time and a new day will tell us what is happening.
Over to the early morning team and thanks to all of you in California, Australia, Finland, and elsewhere for keeping us updated.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Light is fading on the nest now, and there are no osprey sounds so maybe they are roosting nearby but have given up on calling for Dad. Perhaps if it's good weather in the morning, they will fly south in search of warmth and food.

ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
Just caught up again. Thanks for posts, not a lot happening which is perhaps as well.
Sounds as though it is pouring with rain again. Hope they stick tight to the area tonight and if the weather improves tomorrow maybe they will be off. Time and another day will tell.
Thank you Heron for the good wishes. Had an excellent meal, even though I say it myself, with daughter joining us. Lots of wine and a liquer after, great. I know I am digressing from the main subject.
Lets hope for better things tomorrow.
So pleased you had a great meal Lynette - hopefully you are currently into your second liquer and just chilling out.
Not so pleased that 'our' wonderful young Ospreys are still here . So, now my hope is that they'll be off very early in the am.
Just finished my second liquer - better not have any more.
Couldn't agree more with you, do hope they set off , weather permitting, early tomorrow morning.
'Chin chin' Lynette (is that the expression?) and good night to you my eyes are closing and I'm almost asleep on my feet (actually my btm - I'm sitting :) )

Oh heck, Lynette. Celebrate good things when you can! Many congratulations on reaching a very good total and still together. Not many of us about who have managed such a good many years. We celebrated our 30th at the end of last year. We all have to remain as positive and as happy as possible in every aspect of our lives, don't we?
And staying positive, I'm sure the young ospreys will be OK.
