Hi folks,
Wasn't around for most of the day but found out I hadn't missed much. Just two hungry osps waiting all day for a meal which never came. Thanks to you all for your posts and pics yesterday.
It looks increasingly likely that EJ has begun her migration as she has not been seen since early on Saturday morning according to official sources.
Time is running out for us all for this year, I wonder how many more days before Odin leaves and then the juves will have to go if they are to survive and learn to fish on their way to fresh pastures new....sighhhhhhhhhh
Over to the early morning crew - keep us going. Night, Night.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Caroline has a message on the main blog that says they are upgrading the center's computers today ( Monday Aug 23rd) and will not be able to give us any updates. They will update as soon as they can
So-o-o- we are on our own to keep each other posted on who we see on the nest
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
Thank you Barbara Jean for letting us know about LG's computer upgrades - too bad it's not for another couple of weeks but I guess they must do these things while they get the chance.
Day cam is on. No sign of life at the nest.
Chick on nest - suspect it's #2 - screeching for food methinks.
Second chick has arrived on the nest.
Second chick has just flown off leaving original (#2?) chick.
2nd chick ( MIddle) just flew to the tree near the nest is still calling. I think it is Titch who is standing on the nest. He is only calling intermittently and looking around
I noted the sighting of both chicks on the LG sighting thread
So we know both chicks are still around
Odin is the mystery. Is he still around? I think EJ has gone
Chick has been shaking its foot quite a bit - not putting any weight on it......assume everything's okay. Now perched (still on left foot) on large branch at right of the nest...
Barbara Jean: Have you noticed it shaking its foot?
That huge chunk of whatnot in the nest combined with all those branches is presenting quite an obstacle course!
