These guys have visited several times this summer (South West Scotland) - but what are they?
Immature pigeons, strangely drab Feral Pigeons, Rock Doves or Stock Doves?
They are the size of small Feral Pigeons.
An option for consideration! Rock dove? or a stock dove which is similar

Feral pigeons come in all sorts of shades of light and dark and iridescent colour( about the neck ) and surely these are just feral pigeons . Some are quite disappointing to look at colour wise . These just look like feral pigeons to me.
Definitely not Doves (which are white) or collard Doves which are more taupe type colour with a dark band around the neck
I agree with Robbo that these are Stock Doves. Here's a more close-up view of one. I think they are very attractive doves. Note the dark eye and distinctive wing marking.
I've taken the liberty of of lightening the shadows on your original photo for comparison purposes.

Agree they are attractive - prettier around the face than usual Feral Pigeons - of which we have hundreds nesting in a derelict building in town. Our guess was Stock Doves, so pleased to have confirmation! Thanks. OG.
