Good Morning all,
Yesterday had some interesting goings on. Delivery in the morning and a delivery in the early evening which resulted in an eventual takeover by the chick who lost out when EJ delivered round about 5pm This chick then kept eyeing his sibling up and eventually grasped the fish that was left and flew off with it., leaving the first winner of the fish contest to wonder what had happened. It was all very amusing and also a privelege to watch what can go on between siblings in the wild.
The evening ended with the usual ENS
Over to the early morning shift and keep those anecdotes and scintillating commentaries coming for us over here as we love to catch up in the mornings, of what has been going on early morning. BTW what absolutely gorgeous photos of the early morning at LG yesterday. Congrats to those that posted, really atmospheric.
Over to you!!!

Really lovely picture of the bluetit on your Maple Heron
Quackers has been vocal in the distance a lot but is now temporarily on the nest
NB - has anyone seen Odin today please? FB report a visit by EJ early am.
The shrieking Gem is now on the nest
Poor GEM is getting very agitated ... I wonder if EJ or Odin is sitting eating a fish in view!

Middle flew to nest again and left just as quickly. Joan, I think you could be right.
Good Afternoon all! Thanks for the posts and pics, and Paul - you just have to come from where you come from, your humour hits the spot even up here in Inverness! One of our sons in law hails from Clydebank and can get me laughing even when (especially when) he sees that I'm not in the best of form :-))
Like it Pau, see there's been a bit of action whilst I've been away from the laptop. Nothing doing at present except for the wind. Thanks for the updates.
Quackers for a name, like it Cirrus. He did sound like it last night when he was shouting and a bit offstage this morning too, you could hear faint duck like sounds during his shrieking.
BrendaH it was a sparrowhawk not a peregrine although I would love to see one of those in my garden.
Haven't heard the Red Arrows yet today. I know when they came over yesterday all the sparrows and starlings took off in fright.

Good afternoon Heather B, Paul is very funny, not a day goes by where his comments really amuse me. Glad to see you still have a connection. One noisy youngster nearby has been callling for a while so guessing he wantsa fish.
