Good Morning all,
Yesterday had some interesting goings on. Delivery in the morning and a delivery in the early evening which resulted in an eventual takeover by the chick who lost out when EJ delivered round about 5pm This chick then kept eyeing his sibling up and eventually grasped the fish that was left and flew off with it., leaving the first winner of the fish contest to wonder what had happened. It was all very amusing and also a privelege to watch what can go on between siblings in the wild.
The evening ended with the usual ENS
Over to the early morning shift and keep those anecdotes and scintillating commentaries coming for us over here as we love to catch up in the mornings, of what has been going on early morning. BTW what absolutely gorgeous photos of the early morning at LG yesterday. Congrats to those that posted, really atmospheric.
Over to you!!!

Evening/morning all: Late logging so not sure if I've missed any action yet.
Spoke too soon. Chick has arrived calling and mantling.
Hi everyone. Thanks for starting the thread Lynette.Morning/evening Annette. Its always nice to have a feathered friend or two on the nest when you log on.Two GEMs having a conversation. One on nest, one off.Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Well now, another chick has just arrived. They're both closely watching something - can't see what. Oh second chick to arrive (Titch?) has flown off. Assume that's #2 still on the nest demanding someone bring breakfast.
Hey Heron. Howzit going?
Hi Annette. I'm just sorta letting the screeching GEMs shake off the early morning cobwebs. :-) Howzit going for yourself?
Doing okay here Heron. Finally have some warm weather here. Puttering on the computer with one eye on telly and the other on the nest. You're up early.
The youngster on the nest is seriously demanding breakfast. Even looked poised to do the backwards incoming fish walk a moment ago.
Hmm. Well, #2 took off and came right back. And left agan. And came back again.
And left again. Boy. This is getting repetitive!
