Hi folk,
It was a mixed day yesterday. Fish delivery I think in the morning but not sure whether there were more during the day. Two juves kept coming and going and Odin visited at least twice during the course of the day - once , eyeing up the fish the youngster had. Did his usual housekeeping and kept everyone amused with his antics.
We know that EJ and Odin were around yesterday, and the two juves are believed to be Titch and Middle but no doubt someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
Over to the night/early morning shift and keep us amused with your lovely commentaries and occasional pics.
I'm off to bed, see everyone in the morning.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Hi everyone: Thanks Lynette. I'm checking in early in case those mysterious lights show up! Did have a look a while back; all dark and still.
Ho Hum. Nothing going on.
Hey AQ: Watching the nest and a documentary on a photographer who cycled into the salt flats of Southern Australia. It's called Salt.
AQ: The photographer's name was Murray Fredericks; he caughts some amazing shots; camped in a tiny tent on totally flat land and just photographed the horizon and the sky during various visits over a period of two or three years. Sorry off-topic (but the "topic" hasn't shown up so far!).
Well it all of a sudden got light at LG - foggy too. Still no sign - or sound - of an osprey.
Does anyone know where Barbara Jean went?
Good grief, even AQ is MIA this morning. Still very foggy at LG. FYI, LOTL cam is down - they must have the same ISP as HeatherB!
Mea culpa, Annette. I have been processing yesterday's research in State Library. Woo Hoo, next stage is almost ready to upload. Continuing off topic as nest is still foggy & empty - Murray Frederichs (had never heard of him, had to Google) has camped on Lake Eyre for weeks alone since 2003. Lake Eyre is normally a huge dry salt lake. At present it is filled with water coming down the Cooper from Queensland. Tourists are visiting to see birdlife and others are sailing boats!!!! His pics are stunning.
EDIT Lake in north of SA
Oh that's okay AQ. Was just wondering if I'd missed exciting news of yet another trip into your back country. Nice that you can see progress in your research project; what's the next stage and how many stages are there? Interesting about Lake Eyre (lake "air" or lake "eyrie"?) It's okay to respond on the Weekly Chat pages when you have a minute.
Oh dear, now that I've flushed you out, I'm probably going to pile into bed and get some zzzzzs. Got very tired all of a sudden.
GEM has landed calling politely . . . (EDIT) and flown.
