Hi everyone.
Thanks for all the great posts, pics, videos etc on yestarday's Daily Update. Seems like it was a momentous day at LG on Monday. Perhaps EJ has set off on another migration to Africa. If so her last appeance on the LG nest in 2010 was something to behold. It was almost as if she was saying: "See you later." to the magnificant Odin, and perhaps even us viewers. She deserves to play to the camera though. She's an absolute star. Can't wait to see her next spring.Rain falling at LG now. Who knows what dramas today will hold.
I'm starting to feel tired, so I'll fly off to roost.
Paul.

So can I DjoanS what a show he has put on just for us this afternoon. You are right about the nest it looks as though it has been trashed. Wonder if he will be back to tidy things up again.

I must admit Joan, when I saw Linda's remark about the houseproud bloke, ( tongue in cheek, I think ) I thought, I wouldn't let him near my home !! No wonder EJ nags.
Is that a chainsaw I can hear in the distance? I hope its not Odin using it, because if it is, I dread to think of the size of branch he will bring back to the nest!!!

Good afternoon Alan Odin has certainly entertained us over the past couple of days. As you say he is star and with EJ being the wonderful Mum she is he should feel proud of all his and her efforts over the past few months. Can't believe it is all coming to an end.

Brilliant Joan. I have just roared out laughing.

BrendaH it makes me feel the same, all alone without his wife and family who have relied on him for the past few months. What a lovely osprey he is.
DjoanS that has made me laugh so much you have started me off coughing. I can hear it now so perhaps you are right.
Just hope it is not the nest tree. Just waiting to hear some one shout 'TIMBER' and the nest vanishes from our view.
I was so pleased to have been a part of this afternoon's exchanges. Thank you to one and all.
And yes, I do hear the sound of a chain saw. Perhaps that is what I thought was the noise from the Centr.e
