Hi everyone.
Thanks for all the great posts, pics, videos etc on yestarday's Daily Update. Seems like it was a momentous day at LG on Monday. Perhaps EJ has set off on another migration to Africa. If so her last appeance on the LG nest in 2010 was something to behold. It was almost as if she was saying: "See you later." to the magnificant Odin, and perhaps even us viewers. She deserves to play to the camera though. She's an absolute star. Can't wait to see her next spring.Rain falling at LG now. Who knows what dramas today will hold.
I'm starting to feel tired, so I'll fly off to roost.
Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Hi all, thanks Heron for starting us off today. For Aquilreen for her witty senario between EJ and Odin from yesterday. For Cirrus for those great pics and to everyone else for the updates.
ENS except for...........Mr/mrs Chaffinch who's just paid a visit. Right at the back of the nest, rt.hnd.side.

Oh yes, Lynette, I see Mrs C. Brenda – two weeks !!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you SURE?
Alan – very good news about Caerlaverock and the flounders.
What's that little bird??? (Sandy?)
It wasn't a song I know. But very very faint in the distance just for a moment , I heard an Osprey cry.
Morning all. A very dreich day here too. A real shame for the harvest, but my grass is looking much better. Cirrus, thanks for the photo and news of a fish delivery by EJ. Selfishly, it is good to know she is still with us. All I can hear is the plip plop of rain, a chaffinch and the cry of a buzzard.

Just heard a chirrup off nest.
'morning Sheila ....
Ok troops I'm off to meet Quietwoman now so over to you to report on juves and Odin (hopefully) and all. I'll catch up later.
Good morning all and I am amazed to read EJ is still around, I really thought after the touching scenes between her and Odin were her final goodbye. Selfishly I am pleased she is still here and managed to deliver a whale for one of the GEM's. Loved the scenario from AQ and also the pic of EJ, one I will be saving. I think she is having a game with us but in my mind I believe she will finally depart soon. It looks miserable on the nest, very soggy. We have had more rain overnight and this morning and at long last my lawns beginning to look better. Off to catch up with the other blogs now but will be keeping an eye out for another EJ visit.
