WEEKLY CHAT (NON-OSPREY) SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2020

Hallo all.  Have a wonderful week.

  • LINDY - I shall be there tomorrow for roast pork and apple sauce, hope there will be runner beans or I'll sulk.....
  • I was just thinking the same, Heather. Leaving it until tomorrow lunch time will give me time to drive up there ...

It's been sunny and warm here for most of the day, and the forecast is good for the next few days. Hooray! Going to an open air, socially distanced birthday party tomorrow afternoon (after lunch, of course!!) before the Rule of Six arrives on Monday. I don't think there will be many people there, but probably more than six ...

It's our first church service tomorrow morning. After the risk assessment we are allowed up to fifty people (the church actually seats just under five hundred, so we will be well and truly socially distanced!) It will be interesting to see how many people will venture out, for a service lasting no more than thirty minutes, no singing, no touching, no refreshments or socialising afterwards ... very different. We shall see ...

I've had another of those days when I seem to have been on the go all day but have nothing to show for it. I seem to have had a lot of those recently ...
  • While we're on the subject of pork ........ I've got a bag full of delicious pork bangers from our local butcher's for our lunch tomorrow. My mouth is watering already!

Our herring gulls are red listed birds.  Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
