Well, yesterday saw very littlie in the way of action on the nest. Odin visited a couple of times and I think EJ did as well. No sign of the chicks although there was some calling off stage.
Very, very, quiet , are they getting ready to migrate. I wonder!!!!
Over to the night shift and early morning shift. Night, Night.

Thanks Shelia. Someone on the FaceBook page thought it was Odin. The chick has flown off now.
Thanks Sheila and Sandy - not been watching much ... did hear the shrieking, but had a friend here, so couldn't come through and investigate!

It was just by luck I happened to pop in - needing a rest from lots of pruning and cutting back! ENS now, with a chorus of flies and lovely sunshine.

Just logged on again and apart from the clip of Odin's arrival and juve taking fish by Alan, not much else. Thanks Alan for the clip.
Afternoon all and I can see I missed the only action there was so thanks to Alan for the video. So quiet now with no juves screeching away and the empy nest looking as though it has seen better days. I agree with comments about EJ's departure and think it will be soon, her work is done and Odin can keep his eye on the juves for a couple of weeks and then leave himself. Just hope they all make it safely and EJ and Odin come back next year for another installment in the wonders of ospreys at Loch Garten. My mind now is turning to October when hopefully I will find if I have been successful in my application to volunteer. if this does not happen then I have already made my mind up that I will apply to go the year after.
Have had a good long sleep this afternoon and probably won't be back on today so will say cheerio for now and see you tomorrow.

How strange ... EJ flew onto the nest, followed by Odin with a fish ... EJ grabbed the fish and flew off. Odin stayed for a few moments, moved some sticks and then he went. Empty nest again ... not a juvenile in sight or sound!!!
Things are getting decidedly odd around that nest lately....
Hi all: OK, so EJ still here today.
SheilaFH: Hallo there! I'm sure you've been greeted by the others but I'm not on much during your daytime so must've missed all that.
Lindybird: Yes, Odin always did like a tidy nest. He reminds me of my mother, who used to clean house thoroughly before we went on our annual vacation so there'd be nothing to do when she came back. Maybe Odin will show up with Hoover tomorrow!
Off to start day; take care all.
