Well, yesterday saw very littlie in the way of action on the nest. Odin visited a couple of times and I think EJ did as well. No sign of the chicks although there was some calling off stage.
Very, very, quiet , are they getting ready to migrate. I wonder!!!!
Over to the night shift and early morning shift. Night, Night.

Just been back for a 'proper' look at this mornings pics - thanks so much for that lovely set of Odin, Sandra! Also great pics from Sandy & Joan: the nest did look very atmospheric in the mist.
I would not be at all surpised if EJ went tomorrow, now. The youngsters have Odin still, and are almost ready to go, themselves. Wonder if Odin was tidying the nest earlier in an attempt to just feel useful in some way? Mind you, he always liked a tidy home & was forever putting twigs to one side when the chicks were little.
Good morning all and thanks for all the pics and comentary. Sandra you really got some beautiful captures in the early morning sun and mist, just magical. Great pics from Sandy and Joan. First time on since yesterday morning when I had to go back to bed feeling really poorly. Hadn't been able to keep food or liquids down for many hours and it is only now I can sip some water. Poor OH couldn't do his recipe for me and it looks as though it may have to wait until next weekend now. I think when I do eat it will be something like dried toast for a while.
Nest so quiet now and I suppose we must realise that EJ will probably be leaving us soon, followed by Odin and the GEM's. This season has just gone so quickly but have saved many videos to watch during the winter while we wait for EJ and Odin's return next year. What healthy GEM's they are. Odin has been remarkable again and when EJ starts fishing things get even better. Can't even hear and osprey at the moment but seems I missed what action there was. Didn't get up until 9.30 so hopefully I will see someone during the day. Have a good day all and thanks again for keeping me up to date with things.
Margobird
Think I can hear but not see two GEM's calling for food probably.
margobird - so sorry you are still poorly ... I hope you quickly improve! There has been very little action on the nest since earlier this morning, and if yesterday is anything to go by, there won't be any more :-(
I suppose it is getting us used to the time when they go.

Thanks DjoanS feeling much better than I did yesterday but a bit weak. Probably have a nap this afternoon and then hope to be able to eat something later. All I can hear at the moment are flies buzzing aound. There were a couple of GEM's near the nest earlier but now very quiet again. We are shortly going to have to get used to the fact rhat they will leave us and then we wait until next year for the whole story to start again.
morning/afternoon all.
Thanks for all the reports/pictures. Loved those early morning/misty ones:)
Great to still see them around.
Been very quiet since I started watching.
Margobird, so sorry you're unwell. Hope you feel better soon.
Just looking in again and not much has happened since I went out except for EJ's visit.
Still very quiet.
I've seen nothing today, but I haven't spent much time watching. I have just heard a buzzard, followed by a little chirrup, of perhaps Odin. Another call from the buzzard and then an intruder alert followed by the louder chirrup. Perhaps Odin is still guarding the nest. Oh, wait a moment, screech and a loud landing of a Juve (possibly Titch), followed by a fish delivery, but I'm really not sure by whom. It is lovely and sunny and it looks as though the fish had a head - Odin's delivery? Although grateful for the delivery our Juve is in no particular hurry to start eating and is still calling and looking up in the air. Intruder? I cannot believe he is waiting for his sibblings!
Edit: Perhaps it was an EJ headless delivery. Juve is taking the odd bit from its right hand side deep in shadow and possibly it was headless.

Oh dear, what a noise. Clearly not a happy bunny, but now eating as well as shrieking. Quiet and a good look around, up down, at the nest. A fly catches his attention. Now back to the fish. No, there is something again on the nest. Back to the fish and silence as he tucks in, but still aler. Now he has flown off with the fish. ENS.
#3, I think, just flew off with a small fish, here he is moments before departure:
