Well, yesterday saw very littlie in the way of action on the nest. Odin visited a couple of times and I think EJ did as well. No sign of the chicks although there was some calling off stage.
Very, very, quiet , are they getting ready to migrate. I wonder!!!!
Over to the night shift and early morning shift. Night, Night.

Morning all ... thanks for reports ... its busier already today, than it was all day yesterday! When I logged on there was only one GEM visible ... but there are 'feeding squeaks' to be heard, so somebody is eating out of camera view! Its a beautiful misty morning there.

Just catching up - thanks for all the updates and pics. Sandy and Joan brilliant and atmospheric with mist and sun.
One GEM still on the nest at far right but has now flown off
Morning, All. Sun on the nest this morning. Empty at present.
Thanks for reports and wonderful pics today, All.
One juve is certainly making his presence felt, screeching away offstage
Going out so will catch up later
Morning everyone and it looks like I have missed a lot of action this morning. Thanks to all who posted reports and pics. I still think EJ will go first and it could be quite soon.
EJ arrives on an empty nest with a half-eaten fish. She gives a few chirps ... and then flies off with the fish.
If EJ keeps arriving with fish and gets no takers, she will certainly depart soon, Alan!
Thanks for the pic, Joan - you did well to catch her - I was busy writing on the Weekly thread when I heard wings, & by the time I came on the cam, she was just taking off again.

I agree, she will not stay long if she thinks she is not needed now. :-(
