Hi all,
Its been a mixed day, weatherwise and ospreywise. Comings and goings and fish deliveries from early morning to afternoon/evening. Lots of off and on the nest between at least two of the juves yesterday afternoon. I notice not much action in the evening.
Lets see what today brings. Over to the night shift. See you in the morning.

Rain appears to have passed over for the time being.

2 juves are screeching off screen.
Going to say goodbye to you all now as must go and prepare dinner. Doubt I will be on here tonight as by the time dinner cooked and eaten I suspect it will not be long before I go to bed. As I leve can hear two GEM's close by obviously calling for yet more food. Have a good evening all, and thanks for your company.

Now one GEM is shouting off screen, no it is two again, they must be on the tree or below the nest
Screechy GEM just landed:
--edit -now sitting just off screen, and making a din!! as AQ says, the Screeching Olympics!
One GEM has appeared and is shouting

I tried to reply on your page, but it just froze and doesn't appear to have downloaded... so I'm doing it here instead.
I am about 12 miles south of Cambridge, and have been here for 23 years. Our house is surrounded by farmland, but despite that we see skylarks, hares, yellowhammer, buzzard and even the odd call of quail. So much for intensive farming killing wildlife! However we are threatened by a wind farm... I say no more.

The Site has been a bit unfriendly shall we say, lately, Sheila - it should calm down again soon. Sometimes we just have to muddle through until it sorts itself out. That's a lovely part of the country you are in.
---now I'm off to find some earplugs!!!!!!!!!
Beak open, and on one leg at the same time -- what a racket!
