You beat me to it Paul. I had difficulty posting at first. Started thread but then saw you had done so , so have cancelled mine.
I wonder indeed what today will bring.
Thank you to all the early morning folk who keep us up to date with amusing commentaries etc.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Hi folks, will keep an eye on the nest for an hour or so this evening; must try to catch up on some sleep tonight.
Hmm. Chick is on the nest - jumping up and down and flapping and apparently making a lot of noise (I have the sound turned down). Has flown off now.
Someone just stopped by the nest - the chick with most white on its head - and has now left.
At least two chicks are close to the nest, off camera, and calling. Otherwise, has been quiet.
I'm off to bed, take care all
All three GEMS on nest - one feeding, others yelling......
Morning all ... still three on the nest .. one eating, two complaining, although one did go for a flyabout but came back quickly!

My goodness ... for a moment there was a half-eaten fish lying on an empty nest!
Now a GEM has flown in to claim it.
And here he is Heron , it's Eldest (as it turns out)
