Hi everyone,
Its been a mixed day. Foul weather at times. The morning started off very wet with soggy juves on the nest early morning. There were comings and goings all day with fish being delivered. It brightened up towards the end of the day with some lovely evening sun on the nest. One was taken by Joan and I think the other by Paul(Heron77) but not sure. They are posted towards the end of the days diary. Beautiful captures. It is ENS so over to the night shift. Happy watching, see you in the morning.

Heard 'food squeaks' from the other room! One GEM has an EJ size whale and another on the nest is complaining very loudly ... so what's new :-))

Fish delivery a few minutes ago. Not certain who brought it but fairly sure it was EJ.

Ha Ha! OG! V. funny! -- and so true!
Have just been reading back on today - many thanks for all the posts and pics - some great pics there folks! What a mess the nest looks now, all sticks and bits. At least there seems to be plenty of fish for all, although I do think that they have got even noisier lately, if that were possible!!
The fish has just changed talons .. so the grumbler is now eating! Still a lot of fish left.
Whoever was eating the fish has now had enough and flown off. Remaining fish is on the left of an empty nest:
Had trouble getting on tonight, had to go through "my page" and eventually got there. Just caught up. There was a juve on the nest eating as I logged on but don't know who it was. He has now flown off and I think there is some fish left = left hand side of the nest at the bottom , I don't think its a twig!!!!!
its gone to night vision - oh how the nights are drawing in now.
