Hi everyone. Quite a mixed day. Early morning fish deliveries. Comings and goings by at least 2 of the GEMs in the afternoon but I don't think there were any fish deliveries. Then come the evening I believe there was a fish delivery.
A varied day indeed. Could EJ and Odin be getting ready for migration and keeping the amount of fish deliveries down in order to try and get the youngsters to fish for themselves, Who knows!!!
Anyhow, will leave it up to our faithful watchers through the night from overseas to keep us informed and with the usual amusing running commentary depending on what is happening.
Au Revoir, till the morning.

Hi everyone. Thanks for starting the thread Lynette, and many thanks to everyone for all the brilliant updates, pics, and videos in yestarday's Daily Update. Sort of funny day forum wise for me yestarday to be honest. I had that situation where I can view the webcams, read the posts but whenever I thought I had a chance to post, something would sidetrack me and by the time I got back to the Ospreys, my posts had become out of time. Don't know if that makes sense but that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. Plus it should be remembered that at 32, saying: "Bigger boys done it then ran away." is not a viable excuse on an internet message board from a sensible adult, or even me. ;-)The LG nest is empty at the moment, waiting for the day's action to begin.

Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Morning all: Heron -I think being out of date with posts is standard operating procedure - except of course when the nest is empty!
Hi Annette.
You're right of course. I even find I have to type ENS as fast as I can before hitting the "Post" button at roughly the speed of sound sound, yet expecting one of the GEMs to smiling at me as soon as I switch back to the camera tag, before flying off just as I'm about to take a screen shot LOL. I can hear an Osprey calling from close to the nest, and some crows in the background. :-)
Daylight now. I reckon one of the GEMs has just given some cheek to EJ and she's replied with: "Anymore of your lip young man and I'll be saving the most embarassing pictures of you when you were a baby to show to everybody I meet on migration."
GEM arrives and grabs a hold of something (bit of fish perhaps), then flies off.
Well, somebody arrived and then the same somebody left. Hmm. Looks like a very informative blog tonight! :-)
Oh gee. Was watching the last few minutes of The Ghost Writer and now we have two chicks in a flap - one has a fish - the other #2?? is creeping around waiting for a chance at a snack.
Oh brilliant Heron!! Now someone can tell us who's who!! :-)
"Look at this! He has flown away and left me with only this fish for company."
