Hi everybody,.
Its been a mixed day at LG. Weather has been awefull at times but our intrepid GEM's have lived up to their names. Not sure how many fish were delivered one way or another but it seems the juves were well fed during the day.
Many, many thanks to the overnight/ early morning folk who update us with amusing running commentaries on what has been happening.
Looking forward to another day watchin - there won't be many more - before too long our LG ospreys will be winging their way south to sunny Africa. I'll leave you with the ENS pic. See you all in the morning. As you may already have heard, it is official that Lady has left on her migration to Africa.

Another chick has arrived, but not making any moves on the first chick, who's still at that fish. New arrival is calling and practicing a yoga pose - could it be #2?

Newest arrival wandered over towards Eldest's fish, then thought better of such an action and returned to back of nest! Still complaining.
Another chick just came to the nest . I think it is Middle, but not positive. Eldest moved his fish closer to the camera post and is quietly enjoying his feast
Middle is sneaking a little closer , looking for an opening to pinch it, but a few glaring looks from Eldest and it backed off. . Now onthe edge of the nest calling.

We only have 2 chicks on the nest and I don't hear anyone in the background
If fact Eldest keeps looking around as if to acknowledge there should be 3 chicks on the nest when there is a fish
KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE SCREEN. We just may see Titch come in with a fish.
Wow! Who was that (those?) who flew in - one snatched the fish from #1?? What a racket!! Geez. Is there an intruder around? There were four birds on the nest; now just three. There seem to be two fish now. Huh. The chick who stole the fish has now flown off with it. Chick at rear is eating, but Who's Who?
Osps coming in all directions. Was that an adult with a small fish and where did it (fish) go? Last landed GEM snatched eldest's fish. And now has flown off with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like GEM at back of nest snatched the fish delivery. Now eating.

EJ came in with NO fish. And flew off
I Titch arrived and must have had a fish that Middle pinched.
He was so mad he grabbed Eldest' fish and flew off with it. Eldest just stood sort of stunned at the events.
I am sure the adult was EJ. Titch came with a small fish that Middle pinched. Titch threw a fit and pinched Eldest' fish and flew off .
Eldest had eaten a lot so he didn't put up a fuss.

I think EJ saw Titch coming with his fish and he was being followed by an intruder. She came to the nest to defend Titch and the nest.
They were all screeching and mantling after Titch landed. EJ bolted off the nest after the intruder. In the commotion Middle pinched Titches fish.
