Hi all,
Its was a day of action again, stealing of fish from EJ and Odin, Odin trying to get fish off EJ, GEMs trying to get in on the act, its was all happening yesterday.
We learnt that one youngster had fished for himself and indeed two might have learnt for themselves but that is not confirmed.
Will today see more action or will it be a quiet day. Thanks to all who open up the posts in the middle of our night and keep us going so we know what has been happening. Even in the wee small hours when most of us here are in our beds you let us know whats been happening.
There were some fantastic pictures yesterday - keep it up team - we love them and can't have enough of them.
This is the nest at 12.16am. Over to the night shift.

Someone has a bit of fish and mantling like crazy with it. Doesn't look very big though.

Fish delivery by EJ ... I think it is Titch who has it judging by the squeaking and talking to the fish!

Whoever it was has flown off with the fish! margobird - great that you were around to see that, because you seem to just miss out quite a lot!
Think it was # 3 just now on the nest with half eaten fish. Can't be sure but he was making a racket and talking to it !!!!
Hi Margobird, hope all is well now after the power cut. Just popped on again before going to do a cricket tea for youngsters at our club.
Everything is quiet, thanks DJoan S for the pic of Odin and stick!!!!!!!!!!!
Joan, thanks so much for the captures, especially those of EJ and Odin:) Love those, they don't often get time to themselves on the nest.
Whoever was eating that fish has either finished or taken it away with them as it's ENS
Odin arrives with more sticks and starts doing the housework!
Is that Odin chucking the furniture around. Can hear calling from nearby.
The Magnificent Odin on the nest at the moment, surveying all he see's:). Well, he was, he's just gone!
Just as I was about to say thanks to DJoan S for her captures and to the others as well, in flies Odin with a stack of small branches, moves some of them around whilst listening to ospreys calling in the distance, stops to listen and then flies out again.
