Good Morning. Couldn't get my tablet to post on here yesterday, so had to give up. Sunny outside this morning, but wind & rain predicted for later.

Rosy, sorry you had dramas in getting your OH home again: I know what you mean, everything is harder the older you get. Glad all well with your OH.

Lynette, have a good meal out next week: we enjoyed ours & more about that, later, but I must dash now.

Hope that OG is feeling better, & that all goes well with AQ on Duty today.

Some rain here. The gutters have been cleared. They were not that bad. It was the sheer volume water that caused the damage.

OG - I could almost feel your pain after your telephone consultation with the physio. I hope that you are not in as much pain today. Sorry about J's knees. What is the problem?
ROSY - glad your OH is OK but it does indeed sound as if you had a stressful time...
AQ- glad that you are able to help the family, imagine if you lived far away, what would they do?
LINDY - good that you enjoyed lunch and I hope that LYNETTE will enjoy hers. I'm still very wary but do miss meeting daughter's for lunches out.

A quiet day here, no rain. I walked to town for banking and shopping.

Another muggy good morning to all. Trash trucks are banging up and down the road; tree trimmers were here yesterday and the day before; tomorrow it's the new carpeting. It's all happening!

Be careful what you wish for ... it hasn't stopped raining all day so far!

I've been busy so no time to write much today. Went out shopping this morning, and found an almost empty car park at the giant M&S car park and not many people inside the shop, either. Visited Sue, my OHs sister on the way home, as its her birthday today. She was pleased with our present of a pretty evening bag, a necklace, and two tubes of mustard (a long story!!!!)

Off to bed as,weary....
