Hi folks, not a lot has happened yesterday.. There was some acitivity in the morning and very little in the afternoon/evening unless I missed anything.
Are they perhaps getting ready for migration. We non't see the GEM's on the nest quite so frequently now, could they be fishing themselves or are EJ and Odin dropping fish into trees as was suggested yesterday, for them to pick up. This is a part of the ospreys life that we don't know much about but what a preveledge to watch them through all these weeks growing up. I'm prattling on just for something to say. I'll hand over tothe night staff and leave you with a poinant reminder of the nest. -- DESSERTED!!

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Not sure if Eldest can't or won't give up the measly fish tail.
Now two GEMS on the nest looking for..........perhaps another delivery.
Frantic calling and mantling - intruder alert
Poor GEMs are really being bothered by that intruder!

Now they are being 'buzzed' by a helicopter!
Came in a bit late then, didn't I. It had all happened. Thanks for great captures. Plane just gone over and they were doing their contortionist acts, watching it go overhead.
Good afternoon all and that will teach me to switch off for an hour because I thought nothing was going to happen. Switched on and found 77 email alerts so knew I had missed a lot.
Thanks to Lynette, Cirrus, DjoanS and Lindybird for all the pics. Some good ones I must say. At least i have now seen osprey live and not just an empty nest. Came on to find the youngsters mantling and realised there must have been an intruder. Cirrus I did see the one on the nest and it does look Dad, I actually thought it was Odin. Some funny noises coming from one of them, sounded a bit like it had a sore throat. Both looking around now and I just love their eyes, just beautiful.

Is it Titch and Eldest on the nest. Eldest is having a go at the tail end again, whilst Titch is trying to get hold of it, but eldest mantles and is not giving it up.
Annette I agree with Lindybird you never let us down. I know when you have spend much time recording what is happening during our night as well as the LOtL nest.
Thanks Margobird. Weather looks a little brighter there, now.
