A beautiful hawk perched on the lower T-branch & the nest

I wondered if I could espy a bird on the low perch after he flew from the high perch, but if it was one I don't think it was an osprey:

Maybe that's who this was yesterday, OLAF? I was going to stop monitoring but maybe we'll have to keep going for it
I did an Unlisted video of your hawk, OLAF - I'm calling it a young Buzzard. The sound is upped, with possible unseen drama at the end: https://youtu.be/fQnICrHI2h8
And a token snap of the evening couple, one of whom flew off with a scrap:
Editing in the Magpies has taken "a long time", me having started at 03:00 on the 1st of September. They must have taken pity and given us a month off but the seize-up is back in force tonight.
Buzzard at 1100.

Birdies LG DU update.
My meagre offering - with apologies. Little Redstart

One of my Starr Ranch cams will no longer show in Firefox after a 502 Gateway problem, but it's OK in Chrome-based browsers

Your Buzzard came twice (well, I thought it was a grown-up first, then yesterday's youngster) - the first time with a mouse a-beak:
Landing with an unfortunate "mouse" - he'd already golloped it down when you caught him, MIKE:
Looking over shoulder:
I can't get the frame the right colours
Your Redstarts, CIRRUS, picked over the nest for ages and ages - the blob is one descending:
Two perchers at different times, too tiny for me to ID:
There were 10+ minutes missing between the end of the last clip and the start of the new one, and I nearly had a heart attack when the view in the first snap greeted me
Edit - I now see that the start of the flyoff in snap #2 of this group is invisible, sorry about that.
The youngster was back in the evening, it dived down from the high perch but must have eaten on the ground, if it caught anything:
That's all up to 20:00.
