The three juveniles are thriving under Mrs G and Aran's continued care, proving once again what formidable parents they are. Long may the season continue to be be hassle-free as it nears the time for migration

Yup - those are the youngsters. They look so adorable and fluffy up close!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

I didn't get any of the night between 02:30 and 06:30, I'd not set the monitor on Saw 2 Ravens come to the perch while I was checking it and one was shouting its head off.

There was a game bird (because I can't remember the difference between pheasant and grouse) under the bird feeders pecking up spillages, and a small bird on the right feeder - that's as close as Heather could get.
