HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY NEW MOON!

The new moon (the dark moon) is on 20 July.

Everyone have a safe and content week!

  • Oh dear, OG. Sorry to read of your pc troubles. Also, must be frustrating when you've got the Magazine to deal with.

We are in Wales again, after a wet/dry/ wet/dry journey. Drizzling when we got here, but its not cold. A sad tale from a neighbour who has lost not only his 103 year old mother recently, but two of his three spaniels. He is now selling up his caravan, and his house in North Wales as well, and moving South to Suffolk to make a new start.

Just received a lovely picture of our three grandchildren in their new garden tent, which I bought to amuse them during the holidays. That cheered me up no end.
  • Evening all: Have read all posts and noted developments, concerns, various to-ings and fro-ings (and computer problems!). Really enjoying Ms. D but have temporarily said goodbye to postprandial naps/quiet time in garden and much 'shorter' evenings due to little-girl chats. OH felt wobbly today but is better this evening. Sun came out about 3 p.m., no beach days in sight, but the zoo is on the agenda tomorrow (a surprise for someone). Take care everyone.
  • DIANE – This nosy old woman is interested in what you learn in your covid study.

HEATHER – Some people here are becoming complacent about distancing, sanitizer, etc. Covid is far from over yet, no matter how much we wish otherwise.

OG – For all its advantages, modern techy stuff can be so frustrating.

ANNETTE – You can catch up on naps later. This time with MissD is so precious.

OH’s button search was not successful. I am not surprised as he now has difficulty making decisions. I took myself to city this morn and, faced with an array of buttons, tried to choose something he would approve. I then took my camera for a little walk to capture a few old (and rather grotty) buildings, before bussing home. To discover OH was out for lunch. Great news as last eve he was rather depressed about going out.

[Later] My button choice approved. Now I have to summon up the will to sew them on.

  • Just a thought

The purpose of life is to believe, to hope, and to strive. (Indira Gandhi)

  • Good Morning. Looks dry here, and quite bright! Hooray!
  • Lindy: Have a lovely time!

Annette: Enjoy your special time with Ms. D. It's precious.

Hey, AQ: I remember that you photographed silos painted with art work. I thought you might enjoy seeing this little article. This small town is about an hour south of me. You have to scroll down to the end of the article to see the completed SILO MURALS

  • Wow, Diane. They are special. I'd so love to see them in reality.

We went for a beach walk this morning, but waited in later for the Boiler engineer: he turned up to see one of our neighbours and said to us that he was "waiting for parts" for ours :-(
  • LINDY Do hope you get that boiler fixed soon.
  • My OH contemplating the view of the beach this morning. The tide is coming in but there was enough sand still left for us to walk on it.

  • Bonnie joined him after sniffing in the grass for a bit.
