Dibnlib - Good thing that you were able to help in the case of the poor confused lady. We knew a man who would get up in the middle of the night "To go and play cricket" and his poor wife had to be alert or he was off wandering around the town in the darkness.

Hi all. First of all, Diane thank you again for starting us off. Oh dear what temperatures you are having to put up with, do hope you manage to keep cool with doors and windows open or what about an electric fan!!

Lindybird - trust you are feeling a little better after your visit to Sue's and the natter you had together. Must be heartwrenching not to be able to pick G.Dau up and cuddle but you will be able to soon, I'm sure.

OG - Sorry to hear that you have been in pain do hope they can sort you out in due course.

Thank you to all for your news, its always lovely to see what you have been up to.

Had news today that we are hoping to start our Church services again at the end of July/ early August once all the
nescessary things are in place. Oh it will be nice to be able to worship as a Fellowship again.

We had a phone call at the end of last week to say that our trip to Scotland is still on if we so wish to still take it up.
Apparently there are only 22 booked on our coach so they said that social distancing will not be a problem. We have said that yes, we would love to still take it up unless anything changes in the meantime. So Scotland here we come - in September.

Keep on smilling through, the light is at the end of the tunnel.

It seems we are all catching the Miseries. It is difficult unable to do the things we enjoy and not knowing how long before normal returns. Please hang on, maybe tomorrow will be brighter.

I dashed around this morn, sweeping the leaves from the back verandah before the lawn man arrived to see what a lazy being I have been. Then flew into bathroom for cleaning, but stopped before I reached the shower. Sat nattering to OH while he decided he could not be bothered going out for lunch. He did not last Friday either. Soon I shall make sandwiches for lunch.

Evening all: All chores done in advance so will have time to visit/play with Ms. D.this week.

It'll be interesting when the researchers have had a chance to study the many and varied effects of the current disruption to report what patterns emerged re moods, behavior, etc. My Seattle friend called this evening, somewhat weepy and very frustrated. I was too tired to do much more than listen and make sympathetic noises, which seemed to be enough for now....

Hope similarly affected folks will feel better in the morning. The important thing is that we all stay healthy.

Breakfast TV this morning showed that this time last year the UK was enjoying??? temps of 39 degrees. This was obviously not Scotland. Today we are expecting a max of 17 here.

Lynette, that's good news that you can still enjoy your break in Scotland.

Sunny here! Thank goodness. I can get outside and do some tidying up in the garden. My OH has lots to do at the allotment, and we both agreed that it's been a Good Thing that he could escape up there so that we're not driving each other crazy. He's also been enjoying his golf.

Good news this morning that there seems to be a lot of progress on the development of a vaccine, which puts hope on the horizon for the future.

Must go and get washed/dressed and tackle my To Do List!

I have no interesting news. Went out for Golden Oldies food shop this morning.

Had a chat with a neighbour in the garden. She was concerned as she found what looked like the wrapping from someone's lunch on the grass and thought we had another intruder. I am reasonably sure that a fox or bird had dropped it there, after emptying the contents. We are getting paranoid.

I don't like interior decorating. It looks gorgeous, but it doesn't have that lived-in look. (Clive Cussler)
