I'm starting this thread in case it's not possible for MARY to do it due to the first-of-the-month freeze-up.
Aila, Louis and their 3 chicks are flourishing, with Louis proving a great provider to the biggest family he's had so far.
I might add some snaps 'n things if I last a bit longer, but let's get the thread on the road first ;)

Ian S said:Morning all, after Cathy's post about a fish at 20.06, Geemeff on WT chat notes a later one at 22.20 yesterday. That made six in total for Saturday. Feathers are being ruffled by the wind at the moment. Ian
Morning all,
I was half expecting Louis to turn up again with number seven, but he left it at just a half-dozen for the day. Here's Fish Six:
I'm not sure whether Aila is trying to cover them, or two of them are trying to get under her! The one who doesn't succeed is chattering away to anyone who will listen
Mmmm, perhaps I'll try the other way round!

11.15 a pause in the rain, a break in the clouds and the sun came out.
11.18 Aila flew up to the visible perch on the top left and by 11.21 the youngsters were ggetting restless. A poop, a chatter, standing up, a gentle stretch of the wings - JJ8 I think, but it could be 6
Trusting eyes look up to Aila
Fast forward to 11.39 and it's raining again
11.44, fish. It took Aila until almost 11.50 to grab the fish from Louis, just as he was having a wee nibble at it himself. Ian

Interesting FISH DELIVERY, Aila hasn't got up and is yelling at him!! Is she saying "It's raining, I can't feed them just now".
So Louis takes a sneaky bit, and gets a tail fin in the face
11.49 Aila continues to call, Louis just holds the fish. The chicks look at the fish, as Louis has another bite perhaps hoping he might feed them.
11.50 that's just too much for Aila and she gets up to take the fish
and Louis flies off
and feeding commenced. The juicy innards
One hungry chick comes for a feed
12.08 the fish is gone, Aila and a chick look for discarded pieces of fish, and Aila calls for MORE!
One chick couldn't wait any longer for Aila to come and take the fish and feed them:
Need I say what the weather is currently doing? Ian
14.34, fish. Ian
15.28, the chicks have had enough for the moment. Aila has the luxury of a very nice chunk to finish. Ian
