I'm starting this thread in case it's not possible for MARY to do it due to the first-of-the-month freeze-up.
Aila, Louis and their 3 chicks are flourishing, with Louis proving a great provider to the biggest family he's had so far.
I might add some snaps 'n things if I last a bit longer, but let's get the thread on the road first ;)

Thanks for notifying us Richard. Mary got the first fledge, Richard the second, who will get the third? If the next one is again early in the morning it won't be me that's for sure! Ian
PS - my computer is still playing up, so don't expect much input from me today.
MaryGK said:It was such an unassuming fledge, She just lifted her pretty little wings and went..... Now all we want to see is her safely back on the nest, Louis needs to bring a fish in and she will no doubt appear. I did a video as I didn’t think you were around Geemeff.....
The more videos the better! My original fledge post was well down the thread by the time commento allowed yours to pop up, Mary - there were so many responses, everyone who was awake like me posted about that moment so although George cleared the comments yesterday, he'll probably need to do it again soon.
Wonderful news and as you say, now we just want to see her back safely. She had a little half-wing shake and then...just went!
FLEDGE!! He's done it! Captain is off on his first flight! 08.11.40
