I'm starting this thread in case it's not possible for MARY to do it due to the first-of-the-month freeze-up.
Aila, Louis and their 3 chicks are flourishing, with Louis proving a great provider to the biggest family he's had so far.
I might add some snaps 'n things if I last a bit longer, but let's get the thread on the road first ;)
IMAGICAT
Was Aila giving a flying display this morning, all three JJ’s had eyes to the skies, comical to watch them.

12.54 (well 12.53.59), JJ6 is off on another flyabout. Ian

14.00, Louis brings in a small fish. JJ8 initially takes it but can't seem to get a good grip. She drops it and JJ7 spots his chance to nab it. JJ6 is still off on flyabout per my previous post. Ian
EDIT - 14.18, JJ7 swallows the tail. I did say it was a small fish!
14.23, another small fish. JJ8 is straight on to it. Again JJ7 (on the left) takes it from his sister (pic 1) but this time JJ8 (on the right) takes it back (pic 2). Ian
EDIT - JJ8 swallowed the tail of this one at almost 14.37, bet Aila is first up for the next one!
Aila was on the nest with two chicks, JJ7 and JJ8. JJ8 was tucking into a fish, JJ7 kept trying to sneak it.
As JJ8 finished the fish, Aila looked up, the chicks pancaked and JJ6 landed someone unceremoniously relealising he has missed a meal or at least part of a meal. I'm not sure whether JJ8 still has some in the talons.
Well sis, do you have some left?
Aila has flown to the campost.

14.41, JJ6 is back. The way Aila reacted as he approached looks like an intruder (7 & 8 pancaked as a result)! This almost caused a collision as he landed. Ian
Ian S said:Sheila "I'm not sure whether JJ8 still has some in the talons." I'm afraid not, per the edit to my 14.38 post, JJ8 finished the tail at 14.37. Ian
He did get most of fish number one, which was considerably more substantial than either of the last two!
15.26, a better fish. JJ6 takes it. Ian
EDIT - 15.27, I am still struggling to read the ring numbers, it looks like 8 has taken it from 6. When 6 had the fish it was still flapping. JJ8 still has the fish despite the efforts of 6 & 7. 15.42, I think eventually 6 wrestles the fish from 8.
