I'm starting this thread in case it's not possible for MARY to do it due to the first-of-the-month freeze-up.
Aila, Louis and their 3 chicks are flourishing, with Louis proving a great provider to the biggest family he's had so far.
I might add some snaps 'n things if I last a bit longer, but let's get the thread on the road first ;)

Nose to tail, the pedant in me likes the organised way they are lying down! Ian

Good morning, very dreich day on the nest! Thanks for the links, Mary, saved me a search, I never watch the One Show, too shouty for me.
Aila landed on a chick last night and got a nip for her trouble
All very soggy

I heard some osplet chirps just now and checked the live stream - but no fish yet. JJ6 Doddie just got up and flapped.
Doddie's been doing that a lot - first flight not far off now. Aren't the chicks chirps so sweet with their rusty overtones!
Agree Ian, like seeing them all lined up neatly, which they are very good at.
This is one I did last night.....

12.30, fish. No one has really claimed it. Ian
EDIT - 12.37, 6 has control of the fish. 12.44, now 8 has it. 12.59, Aila takes the fish and is feeding 7 & 8. 13.09, it looks like 6 is getting fed as well.
Dry but breezy now
JJ6 still at the "jumping with style" stage but making very good progress. The pictures below are seven minutes apart, so a good workout. Ian
22.26 Very slow fish day, just the one so far at lunchtime, 12.30, so inspired by Ian's photo of JJ6 'jumping with style', here's one I prepared earlier:
Daylight Sonata: JJ6 in slow motion
There was a fish delivered approx. 05.42 am. JJ8 had it, then JJ7 took over, hopefully JJ6 will get some eventually.
EDIT JJ6 did manage to get his share too
