.A hasty start to the new month, to get something done in BIRDIE's forced absence and before the possible/probable FIRST OF THE MONTH FREEZE (and I've already got freezing probs here!).
When Birdie is back in she may give me her comprehensive version to insert here :)
Parents and chicks are all doing well, with no real upsets so far.

I have had to take a big mental break.
Unknown said:Anyone capture the arrival of the Sewin Aran brought? was it big enough to get through the night?
Is this the one you are referring to, CIRRUS? Not tiny, but they'll probably be grateful for an early fish in the morning if nothing else arrives tonight:
Great, thanks Scylla. I reckon they all got through that at the time though. Still, something to keep them warmer through the night. I hope. A dreadful night to get through. Hope feathers are now adult enough to protect properly. Oh, the little darlings !!!! And Mrs G (committed to an all night vigil on the nest. ). Wonder where Aran will roost. He's done so well to bring this fish in, Just can't wait to see what the morning brings, in great trepidation.
I do hope things improve for you soon Scylla. Very soon. Take more mental breaks dear and thank you so much for your dedication.
