As the season progresses, Laddie (LM12) continues to make occasional visits to the empty webcam nest, defending his area from passing intruders. It is hoped that both he and NC0 have a successful nest in the vicinity of the Loch.

21st July - NC0 made an appearance on the nest, her first visit since 19th April

And not just Lassie
Thank you Sandra, wonderful captures . So pleased you made the video Scylla, once again many thanks
Sandra P said:nothing was seen for the rest of the day!
And I've found no-one on the nest or in the dead trees up to about 08:30.
IMAGICAT
There was possibly an Osprey flying over the Loch around 10am but nothing, as far as I can tell, has landed on the nest
From just before 16:15 until 16:40, there were distant calls (sounded like one calling for fish) but nothing seen

18:48 Laddie chipping/alarm calling on the nest, he could be heard prior to landing. There was also a second Osprey chipping/alarm calling during his visit of around 2 minutes
19 snaps covering a mere 2 minutes - it really won't matter if I don't find him, you've shown such a level of detail, SANDRA
Apart from missing his lovely voice of course... and the "laughing goose":
That's only up to something past 20:30.
I posted so many, just in case...
Love the 'laughing; goose! lol
I'm hearing the juvenile Tawnies in the distance just now, can't see that they've visited the nest so far

Just in case I was due for another catastrophe?
Overnight I got a moth who stayed on this twig for over half an hour!
This morning a Great Tit was kind enough to catch my attention by shifting a stick:
Up to 13:45-ish.

Lol, Scylla! So pleased I didn't tempt fate!
Due to another commitment, I've not been able to watch the cam today, but, during a very quick scroll back, I've not seen any visits to the nest
It's been raining quite heavily and there has also been bursts of thunder 19:19 Distant calling, nothing seen Edit - same at 20:03 when I checked the cam again
