Lovely pics, Limpy--thanks. I do wish Telyn would not leave the nest though, especially not with Crows about. Healthy looking fox, what with all of those dropped fish it has had! Hope they will be able to ring the chicks--interesting to see if you and Clare are right about the sex of the chicks. Unrelated to Dyfi but about Crows, we have an entertaining pair of Crows visiting the garden regularly, chasing off the Woodpigeons, chasing or being chased by Squirrels, eating from the suet blocks, tidying any dropped suet pellets from the lawn under the feeders, and drinking from our makeshift birdbath, a plant pot saucer set on a tree stump .

I don't know if you are right about 2 bobs bonking, GARDENBIRDER, I just don't absorb interesting facts like that :(

And aren't crows delightful when they're not pestering other birds ;)

Never mind, Scylla, we are all different! I do not have the patience which you have to load so many captures from soooo many nests and to stick at it so regularly (for which I, for one, am extremely grateful!)
