It seems that Telyn overdid the delayed incubation of egg #1 this season, and we therefore have chicks only from eggs #2 and #3. But what fine chicks they are - thanks to the new man Idris's provisioning and Telyn's mothering, they are doing very well.
Proud parents:
I hope you're not having a justified giggle at my struggles on this routine first of the month, KORKY, cos I didn't do the new thread early! It's been worse, tho.

MaryGK said:I heard wing flaps, and Idris is at it again with the sticks, and this time he flattened one of the chicks..... think I will stop looking at this nest until the chicks are older as watching Idris around the chicks is not good for the nerves.
Eek! Great snaps, MARY, but scary :o
Thankfully all looks OK

Chick snaps 02 June
#2 (I think) had been pooped on very early in the day, this was evening:
Wrong thread - after all that angsting!
Not a single post all day
Last night Telyn got drenched:
Idris brought a whole flounder quite early, but suddenly the weather worsened and Telyn couldn't risk the chicks getting soaked so Idris ate some and took it away:
Telyn found a piece of fish-skin and was trying to eat it when one of the chicks protested ;)
One feels one must include the unborn osplet :'(
They got a meal later in the morning:
Next fish:
Again, Telyn did not get up for it right away but she did later and the chicks had a good feed and more later, with the rain easing right off in the afternoon.
Open wide!
Two more whole fish - don't ask about the border, it's a leftover:
Idris took the second fish away after nightcam, I don't know if any portions remain for breakfish.
A bit of a scrap in the nest bob versus bob
