Aila and Louis' first chick hatched on Friday 29 May. Perhaps we can expect number 2 and 3 to hatch on 1 and 4 June.
May brought lots of fish, clods, shag pile, sticks, osprey and owl intruders and fame to Aila and Louis, appearing on the BBC, Channel 4 and Chris Packham's Self Isolating Bird Club Live.

Bob 2 says to the camera "who you looking at?". Even though my picture isn't great, trust me he/she is staring straight at the cam. Ian

Aila's having a disturbed night, a Tawny Owl does a flypast at 00.29.48, then returns and actually strikes her at 00.33.39: slo-mo
Another flypast - Aila's raised up mantling at 02.32.42 and there's another owl flypast at 02.32.48. She alarms again at 02.35.06, and you can hear the Tawny at 02.36.40 and for a bit after that, sounds near.

Aila finally gets some rest when Louis brings the first fish at 03.54.22 - he departs at 03.54.52 and then returns during an extra long camera jump to finish off the small fish on the nest while Aila has a well-earned nap.
