The sadness of Monty's failure to return has been somewhat mitigated by Idris's almost seamless takeover as Telyn's partner.
They have 3 eggs:
Egg #1 ~ 17 April @ 05:58
Egg #2 ~ 20 April @ 01:40
Egg #3 ~ 22 April @ 22:56
Dyfi's usual ultra-wonderful coverage of the nest has been dimmed by (1) coronavirus restrictions and (2) laptop failure, a refurb has taken over. We are grateful for what we are getting, in the circumstances.

LIMPY's coverage of the first 4 days of the month commenced HERE.

Just before 16:00, Telyn was feeding the chicks (chick #2 with the dark mark on the back of its head)
Time of official hatch for Bob #2 (egg 3) was 12:34

Open your beaks for the feed...
Random snaps from today so far
Telyn wouldn't get up for this fish, she must have known something was going on - Idris took it up to the high perch:
Another fish later:
Dang shell popped back onto #2's head:
I'm still waiting for a good snap of #2 not sleeping ;)
Here we go!
#1 was getting fed but #2 not interested yet:
That's up to 14:20.
Idris looking after No1 while his family starves on the nest ;)
Idris brought in that fish:
Lots of outages, many files only 2-3 minutes long :(
Telyn didn't seem to feed for quite a while - when she did, #2 wasn't up a lot but did seem to get a bite - after #1 collapsed #2 collapsed on top:
Here was a bite for #2 but it got dropped:
Another juicy bite is about to hit the dust:
This time when the cam went down it didn't recover until the attempted feed was well over.
Next feed, Telyn was having as much trouble as I was with the 2 bobs, she ate nearly every bite in the end, then gave up and left and Idris had a go, with no more success:
You may read elsewhere that there were several wonderful feeds up to this point but I just can't follow the bobbles smoothly enough.
Idris kept trying to feed the bobs even when Telyn was back and getting in our way.
Telyn returning from a flyabout, hoping a fish would be waiting ;) See how neat the nest it, she did that while Idris was trying to feed the kids:
Yippee!
This bite went down:
Then the camperson, who shall remain nameless, zoomed in on the unhatched egg, then on the fish, then the cam went down
Then it was nightcam, but at least this clip lasted the full 6 hours, as has the next so I'll have to stop it manually.
