The sadness of Monty's failure to return has been somewhat mitigated by Idris's almost seamless takeover as Telyn's partner.
They have 3 eggs:
Egg #1 ~ 17 April @ 05:58
Egg #2 ~ 20 April @ 01:40
Egg #3 ~ 22 April @ 22:56
Dyfi's usual ultra-wonderful coverage of the nest has been dimmed by (1) coronavirus restrictions and (2) laptop failure, a refurb has taken over. We are grateful for what we are getting, in the circumstances.

LOL, LIMPY - I wish I had a £ for every time I've almost bought a graphics tablet to be able to do writing on snaps. Trouble is, my handwriting is nothing to write home about, so it seems a risky expense

This was just before Idris flew (fled!) to perch with his fish - the corvid was relentless!
Varying degrees of success with bites but it did well in the end ;)
Dapper visitor:
Telyn poised over her brood:
It seemed to be intrudery earlier, I wonder if this is a culprit or if its Idris about to go fishing?
This is an unwanted offering being flown away:
Idris ate some and is about to fly up to the high perch with it:
Idris would dearly have loved to feed his chick but couldn't think how... he frantically fed himself osplet-sized bites, hoping it would work out in the end, but it didn't ;)
He flew off with the fish but later appeared fishless on the high perch - he flew off with Telyn calling, was there an intruder?
Just for the record:
Oh! The loss of the fish doesn't matter, cos he brought a fresh one ;)
Telyn fed the osplet very tiny morsels, I had a job finding a visible one:
Ah, here's one stretched between mother and baby:
It would soon be nightcam, Telyn was turning the eggs but not so we could see them clearly.
The stream went down early this morning, as it often does - we just have to wait for it to refresh itself back to life, I get 2-3 15-second clips then it's back to normal.
It recovered at the end of a feed and saw the osplet get a bite:
Idris had fetched the fish from the nest, I think:
Super captures, many thanks!
I've read on chat that egg #3 (on the right) is in the process of hatching
