15:02 Idris was taking bites from the fish and offered a piece to one of the Bobs. Telyn, quite vocal, took the fish and proceeded to feed the chicks

Stickgate! Around 15:10, while Telyn was feeding the chicks, Idris flew in with a stick. He placed it over the chicks (twice) but Telyn was having none of it and moved it in a more suitable position! lol Pics from scroll back

I've been thinking that there's been less interest in this nest than in previous years. The Monty factor?
Idris came to the nest @ 05:10 this morning, he poked about and then just stood by, he was there for 20 minutes.

At the final meal of the day, Idris was determined to feed his chicks. He did OK with a bite but then didn't seem to realise he needed to refill his beak for the next offering and he repeatedly offered his empty beak to the chick. Eventually, and it took a while, Telyn was able to claim the fish and ensure that the chicks got supper.
