Beautiful female, Rutland's CJ7:
The hoped-for partner for CJ7, local male LS7, has not yet appeared. CJ has been tending the nest daily and yesterday she took everyone by surprise, producing an egg - which took us by surprise by surviving... until midnight at least ;)

I tried adjusting the colours but had to leave it as the original in the end, only used a sharpening filter - which doesn't make much difference either, but we like to show willing ;)
I didn't detect her fly off from the campost and decided not to torture myself over cambumps.
A bit later (that means I've forgotten the time, something past 8?):
Rain showed up on nightcam but not all night. What a blooming shame, a 100% web-free cam and no Nightjars
Loved your Starling video SCYLLA - a great find!
No visits so far this morning from CJ7

Nor up to 12:44 on this wet and windy day.
On the very bright side, they fixed the cam colour
Nice vista :)

Rained until afternoon, when we had two corvid visitors.
This one sat on the fence for a long rest:
This one didn't stay long, I chose "poised for takeoff" for the sake of variety:
Midnight scene - harm must have befallen LenSpider, I wonder how long it will take for a new tenant to claim this desirable residence?
Before 08:00 a corvid had a quite-long preen and gave some lovely caws before it flew (I had to adjust lots to show up open beak):
10:16 a cambump but it was too light a landing to be CJ7. Maybe another half an hour later but by then the sound was on/off/on/off :(
Look who sped thru the screen - found while I was trying to find the source of a speck but couldn't, so it's an ill wind ;)
It took him a long time to get going:
... but then he gave us some special effects:
I've got 20 minutes missing after 01:31 - I think it's to do with a new version of my software so I've written to Support.
Just before daycam he'd got this far:
This guy stopped off for a 15-minute preen and rest @ 05:30:
That's up to 08:10-ish.

I don't think it was a Rook, CIRRUS - I think I've just posted a deceptive shot - wish I'd done a video now :(
Did we have a female Stonechat? It was 10:08 this morning - I cropped it, which probably means it's even more indistinct :-/

CJ7 was on the nest this afternoon - for less than a minute:
Spider's web is probably finished, out of our sight:
Spider broke it:
Oh dear! A welcome sight but I shall be a long time with video:
Eek!
Just to keep you going but I have loads to do...
