It is now 33 days since Maya laid her first egg which should hatch around 35-37 days so we can expect to see the first bobblehead of the season in a few days.
Meanwhile Maya sleeps while protecting those four precious eggs beneath her

Moody start for the first day of the month but sunny skies forecast to return next week. Hopefully they do for the first hatching. Also lets hope Maya and 33 don't bring in any more stick or hay and block our view!

You're right Sandra - not long, in fact we will be on hatch watch from Sunday as that will be Day 35 !!

33 was on the nest ready to take over egg duty but he fiddled with that mossy stick before settling down
