*It is with much regret to report that Lassie (LF15) failed to return*
‘An Empty Nest’ blog >>> scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk/2020/04/an-empty-nest/
For reasons known only to them, Laddie (LM12) and this season's new female, NC0, have made the decision not to use the webcam nest. We can only hope that they are safe and successfully incubating eggs somewhere in the immediate area of the Loch and that, as this month progresses, they will grace us occasionally with their presence on camera. In the meantime, we will continue to enjoy, and report on, the sights and sounds of this beautiful location.

IMAGICAT
Good morning Unringed, dark chested, osprey on the nest just after 8:10
It looked several times in this particular direction...
It stayed on the nest for around 4 minutes or so. After landing, it did a half-hearted mantle and some soft chirps. Faint distant chipping heard

Around 11:30, a different visitor paid a brief visit
Fabulous news indeed!! Thanks Alison
