*It is with much regret to report that Lassie (LF15) failed to return*
‘An Empty Nest’ blog >>> scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk/2020/04/an-empty-nest/
For reasons known only to them, Laddie (LM12) and this season's new female, NC0, have made the decision not to use the webcam nest. We can only hope that they are safe and successfully incubating eggs somewhere in the immediate area of the Loch and that, as this month progresses, they will grace us occasionally with their presence on camera. In the meantime, we will continue to enjoy, and report on, the sights and sounds of this beautiful location.

Thank you for the blog link, MARY :)
This morning a pair of Great Tits popped in and out a couple of times:
Then (probably) a Coal Tit but didn't come close enough to snap.

In the final minutes before nightcam, the clump is still stuck fast to the nest ;)
Well the nest has survived but it is blowing a right old hoolie up there this morning - horizontal!
I hope that Laddie and NC0 are hunkering down and safe.

It is still windy but not as bad as yesterday.
The sun broke through about an hour ago.
I scrolled back but couldn't find anything, although sometimes scrolling back you get those white patches so things can get missed.
This is for the record - as it lets us know what it is like for Laddie and NC0 who are not far away
