HAPPY NEW WEEK!
I hope everyone has a wonderful week. Stay safe and healthy, all!
Here's a fun new tool that NASA developed to amuse folks. If you put in the day and month of your birthday, NASA will show you what the Hubble Space Telescope discovered on your day!
Amber wearing the bunny ears I sent her!
Happy Easter to all my friends on here! Like Pat I am on my own but am in daily contact with Children and Grandchildren but its not the same. Lily was born at the end of Feb and I only got one visit in but have some lovely photos to look at of our cuddles. It was also Luna's 3rd Birthday on 10th so only had photos to look at.
This morning I joined Mass on YouTube from out Priest's house - he is late 70s and did very well with the technology. There were over 100 watching online which was great for a small parish like ours in Aldeburgh and Leiston.
I think looking at the latest data (John Hopkins University has a great site updates at least twice a day) that the UK is in an awful state and it is going to get worse. Lets all pray that they find a vaccine soon that is safe and effective.
Best wished to you all and keep safe and well.
Thank you, Harelady. I know what you mean about the grandchildren - my children think its fun to video call us but it makes me want to burst into tears, and gather them up. I only saw little Rosie for about four times and now she's growing so fast.... We've not seen Amber since we went in December to give them their Christmas presents - she should be here now.
Read today that there could be some hope in the treatment of the seriously ill with this virus, as they've experimented by infusing people with the blood of those who have been lucky and recovered - the antibodies help to win the fight. Went for a walk this morning, in the fields - photos later.
Edit -- See that Boris Johnson has been discharged from hospital, hope he behaves himself & doesn't get back to work too soon.
First thing which was a joy on our walk, was a cherry tree in full glorious flower today.
Had to modify the tree pic as it wouldn't post...
And a close up of the pretty blooms.
Following Dad.....
We met a lovely doggie called Nellie.....
